Specifically, nitrates can have a potentially lethal effect on blood pressure when combined with sildenafil or PDE5 inhibitors. Anti-coagulants like warfarin can also be dangerous when used in conjunction with sildenafil.

When mixed, blood thinners and PDE5 inhibitors can cause a dangerous drop in your blood pressure that usually requires emergency medical attention.
