Active Ingredient/Drug Name:
Minoxidil, Finasteride, Biotin, Vitamin C, Vitamin E.
Indications and Usage:
What Is This Medication Used For?
Minoxidil/Finasteride/Biotin/Vitamin C/Vitamin E may support healthy hair growth and scalp health in men. Minoxidil, traditionally used topically for hair regrowth, may help stimulate hair follicles and improve density when compounded in oral form. Finasteride works by inhibiting the enzyme 5-alpha reductase, which reduces levels of dihydrotestosterone (DHT), a hormone that can shrink hair follicles and contribute to male hair thinning and loss. By lowering DHT, finasteride may help preserve existing hair and slow further loss. Biotin is a B-vitamin that supports keratin production, which is essential for strong and healthy hair. Vitamin C provides antioxidant protection and aids in collagen synthesis, supporting scalp and follicle health. Vitamin E offers additional antioxidant benefits, helping to protect hair follicles from oxidative stress. This compounded gummy formulation provides these agents in a convenient dosage form for men who prefer not to swallow pills.
Administration Directions – How to take the Minoxidil / Finasteride / Biotin / Vitamin C / Vitamin E Oral Gelatin Gummy:
Take the gummy exactly as prescribed by your healthcare provider. Do not adjust the dose or frequency without prior guidance. Chew and swallow the gummy, and try to avoid eating or drinking for at least 15–30 minutes afterward unless otherwise directed by your provider.
Important Precautions and Warnings:
While this compounded gummy can support hair health in men, it is important to use it safely. This medication is intended for male patients only and should not be taken by women or children. Minoxidil may cause changes in blood pressure or heart rate, so men with cardiovascular conditions should consult their provider before starting therapy. Finasteride can alter hormone levels and may have effects on prostate health; men with a history of prostate disease should discuss use with their healthcare provider. As with any compounded formulation, it is essential to inform your healthcare provider of all other medications, prescriptions, over-the-counter drugs, supplements, or herbal products you are taking to avoid harmful interactions.
Potential Side Effects:
The Minoxidil/Finasteride/Biotin/Vitamin C/Vitamin E gummy may cause side effects. Some individuals may experience headache, dizziness, mild swelling of the ankles or feet, nausea, upset stomach, or increased hair growth in unintended areas. Minoxidil use may also cause changes in blood pressure, rapid heartbeat, or fainting. Finasteride may cause sexual side effects such as decreased libido, erectile dysfunction, or reduced semen volume in some men. Although these ingredients are generally well tolerated, some individuals may experience mild digestive upset. If you experience chest pain, shortness of breath, severe dizziness, or rapid or irregular heartbeat, stop taking the medication and seek immediate medical attention.
Drug Interactions:
Minoxidil may interact with medications that affect blood pressure, heart rate, or fluid balance, including antihypertensives, diuretics, or medicines that alter heart rhythm. Finasteride may affect the accuracy of prostate-specific antigen (PSA) testing, which is used in prostate health screening, so your provider should be informed before any testing is performed. Vitamin E may increase bleeding risk when combined with anticoagulants such as warfarin. Biotin may interfere with certain laboratory tests, including thyroid, hormone, and cardiac markers, potentially leading to inaccurate results. Always tell your provider about all prescription medications, over-the-counter drugs, supplements, and herbal products you are taking.
