  If you are prescribed medication, you can choose to have it filled by our partnering pharmacy and shipped directly to your door, quickly and discreetly.

  We offer monthly refills, or you can reorder your medication as needed. If you have any new or ongoing issues, you can always connect with a Rex MD team member through our patient portal.

• Do I need a prescription to use Rex MD’s services?

  A Rex MD-affiliated healthcare provider will handle your consultation and prescribe you a treatment if it’s an effective and medically appropriate option for your diagnosis.

  Even if you already have a prescription for a condition that Rex MD treats, you’ll still need to have a consultation through a Rex MD-affiliated clinician to confirm your diagnosis.

• Is my private information safe?

  Your privacy and security is our top priority. Rex MD complies with all relevant privacy laws and regulations in the United States. Additionally, our system adheres to strict security and encryption protocols to ensure your information is safe and secure.

• Who are the healthcare professionals associated with Rex MD?

  All Rex MD’s affiliate doctors and nurse practitioners are U.S. state-licensed and U.S.-based physicians. All doctors are board-certified and – per applicable law – licensed in the states where they practice.

• Is Rex MD available where I live?

  Rex MD serves patients in all 50 states and ships medications for most prescriptions throughout the U.S. Plus, any appointment you may have with a healthcare provider will be virtual, so you won’t have to make the trip to a doctor’s office.

• Is telemedicine safe?

  Yes! Telemedicine is safe and effective, and your private information is secure.

  Telemedicine allows doctors to assist patients efficiently, conveniently, and discreetly. Patients can receive quality care from the comfort of their own homes, without having to take a trip to the doctor’s office in person.

  However, it’s important to recognize that telemedicine is not a suitable option for medical emergencies or instances where an in-person physical examination is required.

• How do I communicate with my doctor?

  At Rex MD, your diagnosis and prescription begins with a virtual medical consultation. This is a simple Q&A form. For many of our patients, you will not need to speak directly with a doctor.

  If your Rex MD-affiliated physician has follow-up questions, these can often be answered by secure chat or email. Some conditions in certain states require an audio or video call, which will be arranged during the process.

  While it’s possible – and sometimes necessary – to arrange a direct conversation with a doctor, an asynchronous online consultation will often be sufficient for many conditions. Some states do require an audio or video call, which will be arranged during the process.

  Note: Certain prescription medications will require a synchronous call with a licensed physician.

• How much does Rex MD cost?

  The cost of your care and medication will depend on the condition treated, as well as the cost of any medication prescribed.

  While Rex MD does not accept insurance, our telehealth services often cost less than what you would pay using your insurance.
